An opportunity to develop and exercise leadership is provided students through the Students Council. Representatives are elected from every class, with senior students supporting New Entrant classes.

A new Council is elected every two terms, with one serving for terms 1 and 2, and another being elected for terms 3 and 4.

The Council meets several times each term to consider matters of importance to student welfare, and school improvement. They organise a number of activities and events for students such as novelty days, talent quests, fundraisers, community support projects, and such like.
