The Netball Wellington Centre are offering coaching courses, a kids netball competition for Term 1, a Junior Netball Academy and an April Holiday programme. Please see www.netballwellington.co.nz for more information.

Children from Year 4 and up (boys and girls) are eligible to play Saturday netball for Johnsonville School in the Northern Suburbs Netball Competition.  Fees for the season are approximately $55.00 and uniforms are provided.  Teams generally have one after school training per week, held on the courts at school.   Information for those interested in joining a netball team is sent home in Term 1.  Please contact the office if your child is interested in playing.

In 2011 Johnsonville School entered 4 teams into the Northern Suburbs Netball Competition, 1 Year 4 team, 1 Year 4/5 team, 1 Year 5 team and 1 Year 6 team.

The Year 4 team played at Newlands Intermediate and the other teams played at Newlands College.  The season began on Saturday 5th May.

A fun and successful season was had by all players.  A big thank you to the parents who coached, managed, umpired and co-ordinated throughout the season.  Your time and efforts are very much appreciated.
